HP is Now Shipping Its 14-inch Android SlateBook
Hewlett Packard (HP) announced his first Android powered “14.0” inch SlateBook in June has now Started the Shipments of the laptop worldwide.
The laptop was announced in the first week of the June, but before the official announcement the machine was first spotted on the official website of HP in April. But soon the news of the first Android powered laptop gone viral, HP removed the post from its website and then again in June the company officially announced the machine.
The SlateBook is coming with almost the same specs like other Chromebooks, 2GB of RAM and has an internal storage of up to 64GB that is powered by a Tegra 4 processor. It has a “14.0” inch screen display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels touchscreen. HP SlateBook is running on Android 4.3, which is not the latest version that is an obvious sign that the device may not receive the speediest updates. The weight of the machine is 3.75 pounds.
